Add Mobile Devices

                                                                                                                                                                 

IDrive® 360 Mobile Backup app is a cross-platform compatible backup and restore app for recovering your critical phone data in case of a disaster. Backup contacts, calendar events, photos, videos on iOS devices and additionally SMS, call logs, music, and other files on Android devices. Mobile backup is available with all IDrive® 360 plans.

Sign-in

You can sign in to the IDrive® 360 mobile application with the token generated on the IDrive® 360 web console. 

To get the sign-in token for mobile,

  1. Sign in to your IDrive 360 web account.
  2. Click Add Devices.
  3. Select Set your own encryption method if you wish to set up private encryption. Skip this step to proceed with default encryption.
  4. Make a note of the token in the Mobile Devices section. You can also enter the email addresses of recipients and share the token via email.

To add your device for backup,

  1. Launch the IDrive® 360 mobile application on your device.
  2. Enter the token noted earlier. 
  3. Tap Sign In.

Note: If you signed in with a private encryption token, you will be prompted to set up the encryption.

Backup

When you sign in to the IDrive® 360 mobile app using the token, you will have the option to backup the above-mentioned data to your IDrive account by tapping on Backup Now

You can also customize the selection based on your requirement and tap Backup Now.
