IDrive® e2 Single Sign-On Solution
IDrive® e2 supports Single Sign-On (SSO), which allows users to access their account by signing in to a central identity provider (IdP). Admin can use any IdP of their choice to process all user authentications. This simplifies the sign-in experience by allowing users to login to multiple systems with just one set of credentials.
Setting Up Single Sign-On for IDrive® e2
Configuring ldP
The admin needs to register the IDrive® e2 with an ldP and get the single sign-on URL, issuer URL, and X.509 certificate (Base64).
Configuring IDrive® e2
After receiving the URLs and certificate, the admin needs to configure their IDrive® e2 account. This can be done via the web console.
Enabling SSO for users
Once an IDrive® e2 is configured for SSO, the admin can enable single sign-on for their users, as required.
Accessing SSO enabled accounts
Once SSO is enabled, users can login to their accounts via web. They will be redirected to the ldP and prompted to enter credentials for validation. Once validated, the users can continue using their IDrive® e2 accounts.
