Restore Operations

This guide provides information on performing manual restores from the cloud or a local destination, authorizing your device as trusted for restores, and managing file versions.

Edit the restore set, specify the restore location, start an immediate restore, and manage restore versions.

Edit restore set

Modify the restore set by adding or removing files and directories.

Steps:

  1. Choose Edit restore set from the main menu.
  2. Follow the prompts to add or remove items.

Edit restore location

Specify or modify the location for restored data.

Steps:

  1. Choose Edit restore location from the main menu.
  2. Enter the desired restore location.

Restore now

Start an immediate restore based on the current set and location.

Steps:

  1. Choose Restore now from the main menu.
  2. Confirm the restore location and follow the prompts.

Stop Restore

Stop an ongoing restore process.

Steps:

  1. When a restore is in progress, choose Stop restore from the main menu.

View restore progress

View the status and progress of an ongoing restore job, including files processed, remaining files, speed, and estimated time to completion.

Restore versions

Manage and restore different versions of backed-up data.

Steps:

  1. Choose Restore versions from the main menu.
  2. Follow the prompts to select and restore the desired version.

Restore local backups

Edit the local restore set, specify the restore location, and start an immediate local restore.

Options:

  1. Edit local restore set
  2. Edit restore location
  3. Start local restore
  4. Stop local restore
  5. View progress for local restore
